

Kevin Coyne, Esq., is an aggressive attorney with substantial experience in commercial real estate
and business transactions. Mr. Coyne provides his clients with sound, practical legal advise and savvy business expertise. He strives to do what it takes for his clients to succeed and seeks to build long term client relationships.
Mr. Coyne has represented both landlords and tenants in an assortment of retail, industrial, office, and residential leasing matters. He has also represented clients in the acquisition of a wide range of commercial real estate properties and businesses (including national franchises, bars and restaurants, and professional practices). Through his family practice, Mr. Coyne has represented many executors and trustees in the administration of probate and trust estates in both Chicago and the collar counties. He also acts as "Of Counsel" to the Oakbrook Terrace, IL law firm Bishop, Rossi & LaForte, LLC.
A proud Iowa Hawkeye, Mr. Coyne earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from The University of Iowa in 1997. In 2000, he earned his law degree from the DePaul College of Law. In 2009, Mr. Coyne received an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in real estate law from the John Marshall Law School. While enrolled in the John Marshall Law School's LL.M. program, he had the opportunity to study advanced topics in commercial leasing, commercial real estate finance, franchise law, insurance, and land use planning.
Mr. Coyne also emphasizes the importance of continued legal education and obtains continuing legal education credit far in excess of the minimum standards required by the Illinois bar. For example, in 2009, he attended the International Council of Shopping Centers annual ReCon conference where he had the opportunity to hear the most recent commercial real estate updates from the leading real estate investors and professionals in the United States. He is also an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Committee.
Mr. Coyne has also demonstrated a significant commitment to community service. He currently serves on the City of Naperville Fair Housing Commission. In 2006, Mr. Coyne oversaw the administration of the Naperville Last Fling (one of the largest not-for-profit summer concert events in Illinois). He is also a proud and participating member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Oak Brook Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Burr Ridge/Willowbrook Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Coyne has sat on the Board of Directors of the Naperville Jaycees from 2003 to 2006 and from 2008 to the present.
Mr. Coyne resides in Naperville, IL with his wife Kimberly. Kimberly holds a B.A. in Journalism from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from North Central College.
